Youth Group
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in right behaviour.”
The Parish Youth Group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at St Barnabas Church, from 6pm to 8pm. We begin with prayer, read from the Bible, and then have a group activity. At the moment we are watching “The Chosen,” a televised depiction of the events of the Gospels and the life of the early Church.
All meetings of the Youth Group are overseen by two adults who have gone through appropriate Church Safety training, and who hold current Working with Children checks.
The Youth Group is open to Christians and to those who are beginning to explore faith, from age 13 through 23. Gatherings include a meal (usually pizza!)
