Safe ministry

If I speak in the tongues of humans and of angels but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers and understand all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions and if I hand over myself so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
— 1 Corinthians 13.1-3

The Anglican Parish of Kalamunda-Lesmurdie is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all its members and leaders, and especially its children.

We recognise the vulnerability of children and their right to be safe. The core beliefs of the Church require us to treat all people with love and dignity, and to care for those who are in need of nurture and protection.

All Church workers share in the responsibility to promote and strive to provide a safe environment for all in our parishes in the Diocese. This responsibility is placed upon them by the Gospel teachings of Jesus and the law.
